The Shivsena an age old ally of the Bjp which had broken away from the alliance on the demand of Chief Ministers post has played its cards to its chest and as per sources the Party has already succeeded in forming an alliance with its age old Foes Congress and the NCP in Maharashtra.
The Congress and NCP which were bitter rivals of the Shivsena are now befriending it smelling power in the State of Maharashtra, though the modalities are being still worked out , but if we believe the sources within the newly forming alliance have said that a Common Minimum Programme is being worked out, which will be focussing more on providing Aid to the Rain Hit farmers in the state and waving of their debts and also focus on how they could get loans directly from Banks and remove them from the clutches of the rich landlords or money lenders claws.
Though Congress still holds reservations against the Shivsena which has been a Hardliner Hindu Ideology Party which is why it is still taking time in announcing the Alliance, but it is believed that the Grand old Politician and NCP Head Sharad Pawar has convinced Congress President Sonia Gandhi that Shivsena will not take a Hardline stand when in alliance with them both ,but it seems Sonia Gandhi needs a written assurance of the same.
On the other hand both Congress and Shivsena are equally may lose its voter base to the NCP and BJP considering the mismatch of the ideological differences between them , which may in turn affect Vote Bank of both Parties.
But as its said there are no Foes or Friends in Politics its pure opportunism which is fueling an Alliance between these age old Rivals, Time will tell how and what will be the modalities of this so called finalized alliance and how will it affect them in the Long run.
It is believed that the Alliance will be announced today and on 17th November the Swearing in Ceremony may take place of the Shivsena Chief Minister, infact the date has been specially chosen, as its the day when the Late Shivsena Supremo Balasaheb Thackarey had passed away, so it will be a Tribute by Shivsena to the departed soul.
Things are really unpredictable in Politics , lets wait and watch how the political scenario in Mahrashtra takes a new turn in its History and how will it affect all these parties in the Long Run if they as believed have already forged the alliance.
