Buying Online On Amazon Beware You Can Be Cheated
If you are attracted towards discounts and Schemes on Various online websites beware,you can be Cheated and the onus to prove that you got cheated will be on you itself.
A lot of Citizens today prefer online shopping for their needs and the Corona Pandemic has attracted many more to the online shopping world, be it your daily needs or personal or household gadgets everybody first jumps to these online websites to compare rates and buy their needs.
This extra demand during the pandemic has also led to rising cases of Frauds being done by some of the Suppliers of such apps and companies which include Amazon aswell, yes we are specifically naming Amazon because recently a customer who ordered a Dji Osmo 3 Gimbal at the cost of Rs.6000,was delivered a Plastic Tray not worth more than Rs.15 !!!
The bigger part to note in this fraud is, that the delivery personnel of Amazon knew that the package is not sealed and a plastic tray was visible in it,but still he hid the package from the Customer till the OTP was not given to him ,which lead to the cheating of the customer, though the customer while taking the delivery took the photographs with the parcel still in his hand and got furious on him for his this move, the delivery person coolly walked away stating now the delivery has been given so the customer should now file a cancellation request and send it back !!
The frustrated and annoyed customer frantically tried reaching out to the customer care but was unable to get through and sent out a email immediately on the delivery confirmation email which later turned out to be a noreply email id, so finally the customer took to Twitter and put up everything,height of tragedy of Amazon India is, next day a Pick up person comes and refuses to accept the parcel stating he cannot verify the product in his Amazon app as it doesn’t have a image of the product and from the name of the product seen to him,it should be something related to a Camera and as it’s a Plastic Tray he can’t take it back !! and tells the customer again to call customer service before leaving, despite showing him the image of Product delivery in the hands of Amazon Delivery person !!
After a lot of efforts the customer finally got through their Customer Service on call who heard the customer and said they are rasing the issue with higher authorities ! but will that reply suffice any Customer who has been cheated by Amazon India, yes we are stating Amazon India because a customer bought it from their website or App not the supplier so for the Customer Amazon is the one who has cheated him.
So all those who blindly trust such websites beware, because you could be the next target of a fraud by these fraudsters, and if you still continue to trust and shop with them ,then don’t ever give out the delivery OTP without actually seeing the parcel or refuse to take it if it’s tampered ,never ever give delivery codes before actual product is visible to you, you may get saved from being defrauded !
