The Turmoil in Indian National Congress continues state after state,Punjab being the latest Pot boiler despite Navjot Singh Sidhu’s appointment as PCC Chief,which ousted a stable and strong Chief Minister of Punjab Captain Amrinder Singh.
Though many Senior’s of the Congress Party have raised questions specially the G23 on this fiasco,Kapil Sibbal expressed his anguish in a press conference on the same and the outcome of it ? His house attacked and Car smashed by Delhi Congress worker’s !!
Kapil sibbal a veteran of the Congress who’s fighting most Cases of Congress party has been meted out a treatment which nobody could have imagined,though his displeasure on the turn of events in Punjab in the manner which Captain Amrinder Singh was humiliated and ousted by Navjot Singh Sidhu and the appointment of Channi as the new CM of Punjab was after Sidhu failed to get in to the shoes of CM himself.
Navjot Sidhu again fell out with his own choice of CM ,Channi on appointment’s of what he termed as tainted person’s by Channi !
Be it P.Chidambaram,Manish Tewari or Anand Sharma all expressed displeasure after attack on Kapil Sibbal’s house
Kerala MP Shashi Tharoor, in a tweet, not only extended support to Sibal, but also condemned the protest outside the latter’s house on Thursday night by Delhi Congress workers during which his car was smashed and slogans raised.
He tweeted : “That is shameful. We all know @KapilSibal as a true Congressman who has fought multiple cases in court for @INCIndia. As a democratic party we need to listen to what he has to say, disagree if you must but not in this way. Our priority is to strengthen ourselves to take on theBJP!”
The Congress is at logger heads within itself and the Gandhi Scion’s seem to be unmoved with what is happening to the grand old party,Punjab a border state which seemed a easy win for Congress in the up coming 2022 Assembly Elections is now staring at a crisis created from within.
Thethe Gandhi’s or the Congress party they need to mend things soon or else it will be curtains for the Party in Punjab too which will lead to more desertions of leader’s.
