In the Sushant Singh Rajput Case if anyone who highlighted the case it seemed alone to be Arnab Goswami from Republic, no doubt that there are a lot of anomalies in this case which are figuring up now, which Arnab and his team of reporters are doing it fabulously, But it seems there is a other side also to this which is of Arnab Goswami himself.
No we are not raising any aspersions on anyone but it seems the recent cases on Arnab Goswami by Mumbai Police under the pressure of Congress for his words on Sonia Gandhi calling her by names Antonio Mario,Sonia Sena etc.. the Coalition partner of Maha Vikas Aghadi in Maharashtra was on the radar of Arnab Goswami in the case of Palghar Lynching of Sadhus.
Moreover Arnab Goswami was even attacked by some Congress Workers as per him and few reports and Ink thrown on his car while returning back home from work Mumbai Police it seems did not live up to their standards of giving it a deserved response by dilly dallying on the issue.
Why do we feel So ?
It seems that in back of Arnabs Mind has a score which is unsettled with the Mumbai Police, this became evident in the SSR Death case where Mumbai Police unfortunately has come under the scanner and failed to register even an FIR, the Bihar Govt acted registered an FIR and immediately handed it over to the CBI !! which got a clearance from the centre aswell.
Arnab Goswami was quick to latch on to it and Mumbai Police is at his receiving end now it seems !
Yes there may be flaws in the investigation and now the case is already handed over to the CBI and as all channels do, even Republic is carrying out day to day coverage of every minute movement in the Case, but why ask questions to a Police man doing his duty of giving protection to the accused ?
where the Republic reporter stated ” Mumbai Police did not give protection to Sushant after complaint, but you are providing security to the accused now” the officer accompanying her is doing is his duty which has been assigned to him.
There may be someone who may have been in touch with the Accused in the case for reasons unknown till now ( it may turn out to be official or unofficial or personal ) thats altogether a matter of investigation by the CBI, but does that mean every Police man be looked at with Suspicion ?
Is all done by the same Police men during the high time of Covid forgotten ? by casting aspersions on every Police man Republic will not gain anything except a hype for a few seconds on TV but think of the Morale of the person the Police Officer who as a individual gets targetted 🤔.
Republic can continue with there investigations so that there is a fair probe in the case, but they should stop targetting individual Police men on Duty, they can put their questions to the then DCP Bandra and the CP of Mumbai Police but not every Policeman because if the 4th pillar of democracy which is Journalism starts attacking the Law and order Machinery things will sooner or later go out of hand and will back fire as all will have individual scores to settle.
Journalism should be free and fair so should be Policing both should not be crossing their respective lines to offend privacy of any Individual by targeting or settling scores unfortunately both get dominated by Politics which in turn creates individual rifts between people and tarnish the image of both at large.
