Nurses body has complained to BMC commissioner that nurse’s and medical staff are forced to work without protection masks,body suits,gloves and equipment’s.
Maharashtra Government it seems has still not arranged basic medical Protection Gear for all Nurses in hospitals, treating Covid 19 patient’s 🤔. ?
Centre has released funds but procurement it seems is still not done or else nurse’s body would not have complained to BMC commissioner
Across Maharashtra due to lack of protection gear doctor’s and health workers are getting infected while treating other Covid-19 patient’s and this is due to lack of proper protection gear.
Maharashtra Government will have to buckle up before this challenge as many Doctor’s and medical staff are getting infected and are quarantined themselves while treating the patients, which is dangerous sign for the Medical fraternity.
Many Hospitals are coping with the same issues, be it Private too which have been acquired by BMC for treatment of Covid-19 patients as none of the hospitals it seems were caught unaware due to sudden spike in cases of patient’s, It has to be understood that Maharashtra has been the worst affected state after Tamilnadu ans Delhi who are facing similar spike, ICMRA has blamed Tabliqi Markaj Jamat for this sudden spike in cases.
Yes,lack of medical facilities and poor conditions in hospitals are being shown by patient’s from inside the hospitals,this can be one more reason for people hiding and not revealing their disease,times running out as India has already got into Local Community Spread as per ICMRA. Let’s hope that the pandemic doesn’t get out of control and is contained soon
