Maharashtra To Reopen Schools and  From 17th August,Is it A Calculated Risk Taken ?

Schools and Colleges across the state have been closed since March last year when the corona virus pandemic hit with classes being held online across the State and India.

Maharashtra has announced the reopening of physical classes as State Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad said on Friday schools in both rural and urban areas will reopen from August 17th.

Offline classes will commence in rural areas for students from classes 5 to 8, while those in cities will be for students from classes 8 to 12 following  protocols,” Gaikwad said, a detailed order will follow soon, which will give clarity of all protocols.

Maharashtra has followed suit after Tamilnadu and Karnataka who have decided to open up Schools, this decision can backfire also ; reason : Vaccination is still not done of all moreover traveling also has another angle to this for all kid’s, Our only question is : Is the Loss of Offline Academics bigger than Loss of Life ?
