Mangaluru blast accussed Mohd Shariq used a forged Aadhaar card of a Railway employee, he used the same name for his rent agreement , he created a fake whatsApp group and used Isha foundation logo of Lord Shiva !! All this for what ? Clearly hinting towards peddling a Saffron terror narrative.
Accussed Mohd Shariq who was out on bail went out of the radar of Security agencies and his links emerged in Coimbatore blast as well got fake Identity cards made and used that to buy Sim cards which again raises questions how did he get it ? Was this the reason why few people had objected to spot verification of Aadhaar by Mobile companies and they had used Civil society people as a target to move Supreme court against the verification by Aadhaar ?
None of the agencies verify Aadhaar cards submitted as address and identity proof of a person be it registration of rent agreement or Police verification as none of them verify from UIDAI,if that starts happening the original Aadhaar card holder will get a notification of where the Aadhaar has been used also a OTP feature needs to be incorporated and sent to the user wherever Aadhaar is used as ID proof, but will Supreme Court permit the same ?
Need of the hour is Government of India makes this a mandatory process, moreover certain agencies who are given rights of registering people for Aadhaar cards they also need to be kept in check ,as for few additional bucks some of them have been using forged documents to give fraudsters fake Aadhaar cards, the entire concept of Identity Verification by Aadhaar has failed and National Identity cards like all other countries is needed along with rigorous punishment for fraudsters who create or use such forged documents.
